Inclusion
We are better together. We welcome all those who seek a deeper connection with the Divine. We are Jesus followers, and we embrace the ways in which Jesus spent most of his time with those on the margins. If you have been made to feel unwelcome in a church because of your questions, your identity, your ability, or the way you love, know that you are welcome here.
Community
We strive to call people in to a new way of being church- a group of seekers, traveling together in relationship, seeking to deepen our own spiritual connections while deepening our connections to one another. This deepening uncovers truths for us that inform the ways we are in community. We value the many beautiful examples of healthy communities in the field of ecology and learn from them.
Compassion
Our stories are precious. We have all been through things in this life that were hard. We have all been through things in this life that were beautiful. Some of us have suffered because of showing up in our own truth. Some of us have suffered because we were unable to show up in these ways. Our community holds stories as sacred, and we will listen and receive them with understanding and grace. We will challenge each other to be in alignment with the will of the Divine in our lives, and help each other to discern what that looks like.
Respect
We challenge all systems of oppression. We value each individual as a child of the Divine, made in their image. This means we speak with kindness and openness, we admit when we are wrong, take responsibility for injuries we cause, and ask for forgiveness. We remain accountable to each other, even when (especially when) it is difficult to do so. We lean on grace. We value the earth and her balanced systems, and do our best to work for their flourishing.
